Service Changes September 2024 

We're making some changes to some of our services. 

For your ease, we've summarised the upcoming changes below. If you'd like to see the new timetable for a service, then simply click on the service number in its header.

Service 2 Bridlington Bus Station – Avocet Way 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 31st August and replaced in part by service 136. 

Service 3 Bridlington Bus Station – West Hill/Hospital 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 31st August and replaced by service 502. 

Service 4 and 4A Bridlington Bus Station – New Pasture Lane 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 31st August and replaced by services 500 and 501. 

Service 5 Bridlington Bus Station – Bempton Lane 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 31st August and replaced by services 500 and 501 and in part by service 503. 

Service 6 Bridlington Bus Station – The Crayke 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 31st August and replaced by service 503. 

Service 7/7A Scarborough – Eastfield 

• Changes to timetable to improve punctuality from Sunday 1st September. 

Service 12C Scarborough UTC - Bridlington 

• The service that operates Wednesdays only at 13:00 from Scarborough UTC will now operate Tuesdays only from Tuesday 3rd September. 

Service 13 Scarborough - Bridlington 

• The short Monday to Saturday service 13 journeys that operate between Scarborough and Filey only will not operate after service on Saturday 31st August. No change to the journeys that operate the full length between Scarborough and Bridlington. 

Service 55 

• Changes to Sunday timetables from 8th September.

Service 63 

• Changes to timetable to improve punctuality and additional Monday to Friday peak hour journeys between Hull and Setting Dyke from Sunday 1st September. 

Service 71E Hull – Spurn Discovery Centre 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Sunday 3rd November. 

Service 75/X7 

Changes to timetable to improve punctuality from Sunday 1st September.

Service 81 

• The 0730 service 81 from Welburn, Crown and Cushion to York arriving at 0822 will now start at Sheriff Hutton, Church End at 0743. 
• The 1745 service 81 from York Station Avenue to Welburn, Crown and Cushion will now terminate at Sheriff Hutton, Main Street at 1835.  

Service 104 

• Changes to timetable to improve punctuality from Sunday 1st September. 

Service 105 

• Changes to timetable to improve punctuality from Sunday 1st September. 

Service 121 

• Additional Monday to Friday journeys will operate between Bridlington and Beverley leaving Bridlington at 0750 and Beverley at 0855.  
• The additional summer seasonal Monday to Friday journeys that operate between Bridlington and Beverley will be withdrawn apart from the journeys that leave Bridlington at 0750 and 1840 and Beverley at 0855 and 1940. 

Service 129 

• Summer Sunday only journeys will now run all year, with the financial support of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, funded by UK Government.

Service 130 

• Summer Saturday only journeys will now run all year, with the financial support of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, funded by UK Government.

Service 136 Bridlington – Driffield 

• All journeys on service 136 will now operate via Avocet Way due to a request by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. Service 136 will operate via Avocet Way on all journeys in both directions and additionally via George Street and Cardigan Road on journeys into Bridlington.
• This will give the added benefit that Avocet Way will have an earlier service to Bridlington on Monday to Saturday and a service on Sundays. 

Service 154 

• Changes to timetable to improve punctuality from Sunday 1st September. 

Service 200 Wolds Explorer Pocklington to Thixendale 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Sunday 29th September. 

Service 360/361 

From Monday 2nd September this service will be operated by our friends at Stagecoach East Midlands. For details of times and services please visit the Stagecoach Website.

New Service 500 

• This will replace services 4,4A and 5 on Mondays to Saturdays from Monday 2nd September. 
• Operating every hour Monday to Saturday daytimes as a circular service from the Bus Station via Quay Road, Kirkgate, Bempton Lane, New Pasture Lane, Westgate and Quay Road back to the Bus Station. 

New Service 501 

• This will replace services 4,4A and 5 on Mondays to Saturdays from Monday 2nd September. 
• Operating every hour Monday to Saturday daytimes as a circular service from the Bus Station via Quay Road, Westgate, New Pasture Lane, Bempton Lane, Kirkgate and Quay Road back to the Bus Station. 

New Service 502 

• This will replace service 3 on Mondays to Saturdays from Monday 2nd September. 
• Operating every hour Monday to Saturday day times with no change to the route. 

New Service 503 

• This will replace service 5 in part and service 6 on Mondays to Saturdays from Monday 2nd September. 
• Operating every hour Monday to Saturday daytimes from the Bus Station to The Crayke via Trinity Road, Quay Road, Queensgate, Hustler Road, and Viking Road to the Crayke and return to the Bus station. 

Service 822 DalesBus Pocklington 

• Will be withdrawn after operation on Sunday 20th October  

Service D1 

• Will be withdrawn and will be replaced in part by an additional service 121 from Bridlington at 0750. The afternoon journey will be covered in part by the regular service 121. 

Wyke College Services

• 926 - Starts at Normanby Village then onto Burton upon Stather
• 929 - Will now go via Anlaby Road & Albert Ave
• 935 - Starts at Pocklington The Balk, then via Melbourne to Bubwith
• 940 - Will now go via Kirk Ella and not Willerby Sq
• 941 - Will now go via Harland Way, Cottingham then Northgate / Southgate.
• 923 924 925 926 927 928 929 930 931 932 933 934 935 936 937 938 939 940 941 942 942A 943 944 946 and 947 
• Other Wyke College services have punctuality changes in the PM journeys.
