Service Changes from 31st August 2025

From Sunday, 31st August, we’re introducing timetable changes across our entire network to ensure buses run reliably and punctually as we head into the winter season.
Highlights include:
- Extra evening and late-night journeys on key routes – perfect for a trip into town, a festive night out, or catching the last bus home after work.
- New direct links between towns and villages, including Pocklington, Market Weighton and Selby.
- Seasonal timetable adjustments on coastal routes, matching services to demand over the quieter winter months.
- New and retimed journeys are designed to improve punctuality and connections.
Whether you’re travelling for work, college, shopping, or socialising, these changes are designed to make journeys more reliable as the nights draw in.
Detailed information for each route is listed below.
Beverley Road Lines
Beverley Road Lines 43 (Hull - Beverley - Butterfly Meadows)
- Minor timetable changes, Journeys from Beverley Bus Station will now serve Copandale Road (replacing Service 526).
Beverley Road Lines 45 (Hull - Castle Hill Hospital)
- Additional daytime journeys. Buses now run every 20 minutes, Monday to Saturday, during the day.
Anlaby Road Lines
Anlaby Road Lines 51 (Hull - Wymersley Road)
- Minor timetable changes for reliability.
- Saturday frequency restored to every 20 minutes,
- Minor weekday timetable changes.
Saturday daytime frequencies restored:
- Every 10 minutes between Asda Bilton – Hull.
- Every 20 mins between Hull – HRI (56) and Hull – Hessle (57).
Anlaby Road Lines 58 / 59 (Hull - Hessle/Bridgehead)
- Minor timetable changes for reliability.
EastRider
EastRider 25 (Beverley - Hornsea)
- Minor timetable changes for reliability.
- Evening journeys, previously operating on Fridays & Saturdays, will now run Monday through Saturday, providing improved evening links six days a week.
EastRider 41/141 (Bridlington - Driffield - Beverley - Hull/Castle Hill)
- Minor timetable changes.
EastRider X45 / X46 / X47 (Hull -Beverley/Driffield - Market Weighton - Pocklington - York)
EastRider X45
- Will no longer serve Dunnington.
- Will operate via Wilberfoss and Barmby Moor during the daytime, replacing X47 during the day
- Additional daytime journeys between Pocklington ↔ York, providing a 30-minute frequency for the proportion of the day and Saturday via Barmby Moor and Wilberfoss.
- Combined with X46, this creates a daytime frequency of up to every 15 minutes between Pocklington, Hull Road & York, Monday – Saturday daytimes.
EastRider X46
- Daytime Hull ↔ York journeys will run every 30 minutes with a more even headway during the day.
- Will divert into Dunnington, providing a daytime link up to every 30 minutes.
- X45 no longer serves Dunnington.
EastRider X47
- Continues to operate early mornings, evenings and Sundays. Monday to Saturday, early morning and evening journeys will serve Dunnington.
Additional X46 evening trips on Fridays and Saturdays!
- Additional Friday/Saturday evening journeys:
- York Station → Dunnington Greyhound at 2050, 2150.
- Return Dunnington Greyhound → York at 2120, 2220.
- EastRider 75 / X7 – Minor timetable changes.
- X46 / X47 will be increased to a combined half-hourly service throughout the day between York and Hull.
- X46 journeys will serve Dunnington (hourly).
- X47 journeys will serve Barmby Moor and Wilberfoss but not Dunnington.
York Locals Y12/14 (Foxwood - Woodthorpe - York - Monks Cross/Haxby)
- Revised timetable to improve punctuality.
- Additional journeys introduced:
- 0905 Woodthorpe Shops → York
- 1355 Woodthorpe → York
- 1600 Woodthorpe → York
- 0900 York Station → Woodthorpe
- 1316 York (Piccadilly) → Woodthorpe
- 1524 York Railway Station → Woodthorpe
- 1630 York Railway Station → Askham Bar
- Evening Y14 journeys are slightly retimed.
North Riding
North Riding 80 (Rasklef - Linton - York - York College)
- Timetable revised for punctuality and reliability.
- On college days, college journeys will now terminate at Askham Bar Tesco for York College.
North Riding 82 / 83 / 84 (York - Boroughbridge - Ripon)
- Revised timetables for punctuality and reliability.
- New additional weekday morning journey:
- 1029 Poppleton Road (Wheatlands) → York Piccadilly.
- Friday & Saturday evening additional journeys:
- Poppleton Road → York at 2019, 2119, 2239.
- York → Poppleton Road at 2001, 2101, 2221.
North Riding 31X (York - Kirkbymoorside)
- Timetable changes for reliability.
Beverley Locals
- Beverley Locals 525 / 526 / 527 – Retimed for reliability.
- 526 will no longer serve Manor Road or Copandale Road, operating directly to Norwood Grange.
- Copandale Road will instead be served by Service 43.
Coaster
Coaster 13 (Scarborough - Filey - Bridlington)
- The summer-only short journeys between Scarborough and Filey come to an end, the full trips each hour to Bridlington via the Holiday Camps will continue until the end of October Half Term.
Coaster 14 (Bridlington - Flamborough)
- From 31st August, the winter timetable applies.
- Evening journeys will not operate during the winter period.
- Evening journeys will resume at Easter 2026.
Other Services
Service 1 (Pocklington - Selby)
- Journeys will now start at Pocklington (EY Depot) at 0858.
- Continues via Market Weighton (0919), then Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, then the usual route to Selby.
- Provides new links between Pocklington / Market Weighton → Selby.
Service 747 Pocklington - Stamford Bridge - York - York College)
- The 0720-weekday departure from Pocklington to York Station will continue to Askham Bar Tesco, arriving 0837 (for York College).
- New journey: 1619 from Full Sutton Prison, continuing to York City Centre and Askham Bar (Mon–Fri).
- The 0900 from York Station will now commence at Askham Bar 0840 (Mon–Fri).
- The weekday Teatime journey will now start at Askham Bar at 1720, arriving at York Station at 1740, continuing to Pocklington.
Service 26 (Beverley - Castle Hill - Hessle)
- Minor timetable changes.
Service 71 (Easington - Withernsea)
- Minor timetable changes.
Service 129 (Withernsea - Hornsea)
- Minor timetable changes.
Service 173 (Withernsea - Burton Pidsea - Hull)
- We will be taking over this service from Stagecoach East Midlands with the same route and timetable.
- Departs Withernsea 0930 → Hull.
- Returns Hull 1320 → Withernsea.
Service 196 (Aughton - York)
- Timetable changes for reliability.
Service 277 / 79 (Hull - Hedon)
- We will be taking over the following trips from Stagecoach East Midlands with the same route and timetable.
- 0700, 1600 from Hull (79)
- 0739 (79), 1644 (277) from Hedon Inmans Estate.
Service 544 (Pocklington - North Dalton - Driffield)
- Timetable changes for reliability.
594 (Pocklington - Fridaythorpe)
- We will be taking over the following trips from York Pullman with the same route and timetable.
- Departs Fridaythorpe 0945.
- Returns Pocklington 1230.
