Changes to our customer service team

We’re making some changes to our customer service hub to help make your journey with us simple and easy.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be making changes to our customer service hub to help make things easier for you. Once we’re back up and running, things will look a little different…

Many of our customers are choosing to communicate with us differently, and the introduction of new digital technology means there are fewer customers visiting our Travel Centre desks or calling our BusLine team. So, we’re making some changes to make sure every journey with us is as simple as possible.

From Wednesday, 31 May, two things will happen:

  • At 11:00, our desks at Hull Travel Centre will temporarily close until Monday, 12 June, whilst we give the space a much needed re-vamp;
  • At 13:00, our BusLine phone service will close permanently.
What this will mean for you

These changes mean that our BusLine service will no longer be open. We appreciate that this may not be welcome news to some of our customers who frequent our phone lines, but don’t worry – you’ll still be able to check when your next bus is, find service information and timetables, and find out more about available tickets and offers on our website and on the East Yorkshire Buses app.

In the mean time, we’ll still be answering urgent enquires on our social media messages. Our capacity to respond, however will be limited, so please only contact us if your enquiry is urgent.

We’re looking forward to opening our new hub and welcoming you back on Monday, 12 June. See you then!
