Whether you're meeting friends, planning a family day out, or soaking up some festive spirit, East Yorkshire Buses will get you there for no more than £3 per single fare.

🎄 Light Up Your Evenings: Christmas Lights Switch-Ons
The twinkling start of the season is just a bus ride away! Join the festivities at:
⭐ Beverley Flemingate Light Switch On – 14 November (5–8pm)
Enjoy live music, the headline act and an 8-minute firework spectacular, plus a special visit from Father Christmas.
⭐ Ripon Christmas Lights – 15 November
Fairground rides, Santa, reindeer, and the big switch-on at 5pm in Market Square.
⭐ Scarborough Lights – 14 November to 21 December
A season-long display transforming the town with colour and creativity.
⭐ Hull Christmas Lights – 20 November
A dazzling FREE event in Queen Victoria Square.
⭐ Hessle Christmas Lights – 28 November (4:30–7:30pm)
Festive cheer spreads across The Square, The Weir, Tower Hill and Prestongate.
⭐ Driffield Christmas Light Switch On – 28 November
A Dickensian market, fun fair along Middle Street, Santa’s Grotto, and a countdown just before 7pm.
⭐ Hornsea Lights – 28 November (5–9pm)
A festive evening full of fun in Hornsea town centre.
⭐ Cottingham Christmas Festival & Light Switch On – 30 November (10am–4:30pm)
A full day of festive fun throughout the village, ending with the switching on of the Christmas lights. To make your visit even easier, we’re running a free shuttle service throughout the day. Buses will run from Cottingham High School to Cottingham Green, with the first bus at 9:30am and the last bus at 17:00. It’s completely free to hop on, giving you a quick and easy way to reach the Christmas Market and enjoy the day without the parking fuss.
⭐ Willerby Christmas Tree Switch On - 30 November
Join the community at The Star Inn for carols and live entertainment.
⭐ Light Up Brid! Bridlington Christmas Lights – 30 November (5–7:30pm)
Kick off seaside festivities with music and bright displays.
⭐ Withernsea Christmas Market – 6 December
A festive pop-up market along Memorial Avenue from 12:00, with evening entertainment in Valley Gardens from 19:00.
⭐ Market Weighton Christmas Tree Switch On – 7 December (4–7pm)
Enjoy a community celebration on High Street as the town gathers for the Christmas tree switch-on.
