York Fare Changes from 9th March 2025

2 weeks ago Tue 4th Mar 2025

We know how important affordable travel is to our customers, so, when the Bus Fare Cap changed in January 2025, we held off making any fare increases on some of our services. Instead of raising fares in January, we chose to freeze prices for an extra two months, helping you save money on your everyday journeys.

From Sunday, March 9th, 2025, we will be making some changes to fares in the York area. This will ensure we can continue to provide reliable, high-quality services while still offering great value travel.

York Locals (Services 12 & 14) – Still a Great Deal!

  • Short hop fare: £1.50 (previously £1.40)
  • Long hop fare: £2.30 (previously £2.00)
  • Day return short hop: £2.90
  • Day return long hop: £4.50

EastRider X45, X46, X47 & Service 196, 747

Some fares in Dunnington and Hull Road, which were previously frozen at £2.00, will increase to £2.30; return fare: £4.50
