We want to inform you about some temporary timetable changes that will take effect on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025. These adjustments are necessary due to ongoing staffing shortages, which are affecting our ability to deliver our usual level of service.

We understand how punctual and reliable services are to you and are working hard to resolve these challenges. To help stabilise services in the short term, we are bringing in additional drivers from agencies and neighbouring depots. At the same time, we are making substantial progress with recruitment. A steady pipeline of new drivers is joining our team and undergoing training to get them on the road as quickly as possible. Combined with improved operational processes, these measures will help us provide a dependable service that you can rely on.

Please rest assured that these timetable adjustments are temporary, and we are committed to returning to normal service levels as soon as possible. Below are the details of the changes:

Beverley Road Lines: Service 44

Temporary Changes to Service:

  • Most trips on Service 44 will be temporarily withdrawn, except for a few evening journeys.

Alternative Options:

  • Service 45 will continue to operate, providing a convenient link between Hull and the University.
  • Additional services 43, X46, and X47 will offer up to 4 buses per hour, which, combined with Service 45, will provide up to 6 buses per hour, covering much of the route previously served by Service 44.

Anlaby Road Lines: Service 51

On Saturdays, the service will run at a revised frequency of up to every 30 minutes during the day.

Anlaby Road Lines: Services 56/57

On Saturdays, the service will run at a revised frequency:

  • Services will now run every 15 minutes between Bilton and Hull.
  • The 56 section (Hull to Castle Hill Hospital) will operate every 30 minutes.
  • The 57 section (Hull to Hessle) will also run every 30 minutes.

Anlaby Road Lines: Service 58

The Monday to Saturday daytime, the service will operate every 20 minutes.

Service 26 – Good News!

We are pleased to announce a positive update, and permanent change following your feedback:

  • New Journey: A new 07:15 service from Hessle to Castle Hill Hospital has been added.
  • The 15:53 service from Castle Hill Gate 3 to Beverley will now depart at 16:03.
