Driving into Scarborough? Why not use Scarborough's Park & Ride?

Heading into Scarborough by car? Hop on Scarborough's Park & Ride at either Filey Road or Seamer Road and take the stress out of parking.

If you're driving into Scarborough, we have good news: Scarborough's Park & Ride sites are back open for the summer 2024 season. Park for free in either of the spacious and secure car parks, then hop on board our comfortable buses that ferry you into the town centre every 20 minutes.

Park & Ride buses run seven days a week, including bank holidays. This makes them the perfect way to get into Scarborough without the unnecessary hassle of finding somewhere to park. Buses run every 20 minutes, stopping at South Bay and York Place before returning to the Park & Ride sites.

How much are tickets?

Below are ticket prices. Ensure you keep your ticket for coming back—you'll need to show your driver. One-way fares are also available.

Q: Where are the Park & Ride sites in Scarborough?

A: There are two Park & Ride sites in Scarborough:

Filey Road (Service 165), which has 600 free parking spaces  -  YO11 3JY

Seamer Road (Service 64), which has 500 free parking spaces - YO12 4LW

Q: When will Park & Ride services run?

A: Both are open seven days a week from Saturday, 23rd March to Sunday, 3rd November 2023, including Bank Holidays.

Buses run every 20 minutes, following a circular route, stopping at South Bay and York Place before returning to the respective park and ride.

Q: Will I have to pay for parking?

A: The bus fare paid covers parking and the use of on-site facilities. Tickets can be purchased on board or from the East Yorkshire Buses app.
