A mad dash to the library for last-minute essays, a trip into town with your mates, or just heading to lectures. Chances are, you'll be travelling quite a bit, and if you're not a Hullian (we pronounce it 'Ullian up here), we know that getting from A to B can be a little bit stressful. That is why we've put together a guide on services and offers that will help you make the most out of your time here, as well as save you a few quid. Look at the categories below and see what might work for you and your budget - or read the whole thing for full marks...
Travelling to the University
If you're not living on campus or just heading to Hull for an open day, bus travel should be easy, which is why we recommend you download the East Yorkshire Buses app. You can plan your journey, buy tickets, and track your bus from the palm of your hand. You can even set it to notify you when you're going to arrive at the University - perfect if you haven't been before and don't quite know where you're going.
When you're travelling to Hull University with us, you've got a couple of service options:
- Service 44 and 45 - this service stops right outside the University's main entrance. Buses up to every 10 minutes during the week.
- Service 104: Hull to Castle Hill Hospital, via the University and Cottingham - the closest stop to the University for the 104 is Cranbrook Avenue.
Need to hop on board another service to get where you need to be? Don't worry, these are just the two services that directly pass the university. You can hop on board other services by walking up to Beverley Road - or get off at Hull Paragon Interchange for even more choice.
Travelling from a somewhere far away? The University of Hull's website has tips and instructions on how to get to their campus by train, plane, or even boat! Take a look by clicking here. If you're getting the train to Hull, you'll be able to get the Service 104 or 105 from the same station. And, if you need a little extra help, you can pop and see our customer service team at Hull Travel Centre for advice.
Ticket Bundles
Our University of Hull ticket bundles are great if you're going to be using the bus sometimes, but not quite every day.
Buy a bundle of single journey tickets, and then simply activate them as and when you need them - it works out cheaper than buying single or return tickets on the bus.

We've partnered up with Stagecoach and Hull City Council to bring you the Hull Card. With a day and a week ticket, valid on both East Yorkshire and Stagecoach services, getting home from Uni (or a night out) has never been easier. Find out more here.
