Go-Ahead West Yorkshire Set to Launch Services in Bradford from 17 May 2026

Go-Ahead West Yorkshire is pleased to announce that we will begin operating bus services in Bradford from Sunday 17 May 2026.

We are incredibly proud to have been selected as the preferred operator for these services and are excited to get started, delivering reliable, high-quality transport for customers across the Bradford district.

New Services

From launch, we will operate the following routes:

• 633: Shipley Market Square – Bradford – Tyersal (Monday to Saturday, daytime services)
  Evening and Sunday journeys on this route will continue to be provided by our friends at TLC Travel.
• 615: Bradford Interchange – Bell Dean Road – Allerton – Cottingley – Bingley – Mornington Road – Eldwick
• 616 & 619: Bradford Interchange – Bingley – Mornington Road – Eldwick 

These services are currently operated by First West Yorkshire. Under Go-Ahead West Yorkshire, timetables will remain broadly similar, ensuring continuity for passengers, with a number of enhancements.

Service Improvements

We are introducing a range of improvements, including:

• Additional journeys during morning and afternoon peak times
• Adjustments to the 633 to better align departure times at consistent intervals each hour, with some peak-time variations

A New Digital Experience

We are also excited to announce that a brand-new Go-Ahead West Yorkshire website and mobile app will be launching soon.

As we transition Go Ahead West Yorkshire from the EY Buses platform, the new website and app will continue to offer all the journey planning and service information you expect — along with new and improved features, including:

• Mobile ticket purchasing
• Enhanced journey planning tools
• Real-time service updates
