At Bishop Burton College, we believe that getting to college shouldn’t be a barrier to education. That’s why we offer free daily bus transport for our students across a wide range of routes.
Whether you’re coming from Hull, York, Beverley, or a nearby village, our transport network is designed to get you to college safely, on time, and at no cost.
Where Do the Buses Go?
We operate one of the most extensive free college bus services in the region. Routes cover:
- East Yorkshire & Hull
- Grimsby, Scunthorpe & Goole
- Beverley & Driffield
- Hornsea, Withernsea, Scarborough, Bridlington & more

Who Can Use the Free Bus?
Our free bus service is available to:
- All full-time students aged 16–18
- Some adult learners and apprentices (subject to course type)

How to Apply for the Bus Pass
Getting your free bus pass is easy:
- Apply for your course at Bishop Burton College.
- Accept your offer and complete the transport application.
- Receive your bus pass before the start of term.
Early application is recommended – some routes fill up fast!
