From 30 March, we’re making some exciting improvements to Service 15, including a brand-new weekday and Saturday timetable and the continuation of our popular Sunday service.

A Faster Way Into York 

BishQuick 15 - Our new weekday and Saturday journeys are designed to get you to York quickly! Whether you’re heading to work, meeting friends, or planning a day out, this service offers a simple, direct link into the city centre, avoiding some of the usual congestion along the way.

The route serves key stops in Bishopthorpe, including:

  • Acaster Lane
  • Keble Park
  • Montague Road
  • Maple Avenue
  • Bishopthorpe Main Street

From there, buses run along Bishopthorpe Road and Prices Lane, stopping at all stops heading straight into the city centre at Piccadilly.

You can also stay on board for:

  • Low Ousegate
  • Rougier Street
  • York Railway Station

Regular, Easy-to-Remember Times

Service 15 will run every hour, with consistent departure times throughout the majority of the day. That means no complicated timetables – just turn up and go, whether you’re commuting, shopping, or heading into York for leisure.

Sunday Service Continues

Our Sunday Service 15 has quickly become a favourite with local customers – and the trial continues! Thanks to the fantastic support and growing passenger numbers, we’re pleased to confirm that Sunday buses will continue, with some small timetable tweaks to keep things running smoothly.

Better Connections for the Community

These improvements also help restore more frequent service along the Bishopthorpe corridor, giving residents more flexibility and choice when travelling into York. It’s all about making everyday journeys simpler – whether that’s getting to work, visiting the city, or connecting with friends and family.

Great Value Morning Travel

If you’re travelling early, there’s even better value available. Concessionary pass holders can travel before 9am for just £1.50 single, simply by showing a valid pass when boarding.
