Young people in the East Riding will soon be able to travel for as little as £1, thanks to a new scheme introduced by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council in partnership with local bus companies.

From the 22nd of July till 1st September, passengers up to 19 year old's can take advantage of this fantastic offer, travelling for just £1 single or £2 return within the East Riding when they purchase their tickets directly on the bus. This initiative is a part of the council’s efforts to make transportation more accessible and affordable for young people in the region.

It's part of a broader effort to encourage public transport use and make it easier for young residents to navigate their community.
