Part of Hornsea Cliff Road Closed
Part of Hornsea Cliff Road will be closed between 09:30-15:30 due to Manhole cover repairs. Meaning services cannot get down to the Old Hornsea Depot. Services will be diverting via Eastgate Crossroads, Hartley Street and will be starting and finishing at Floral Hall as a Terminus and start point. Sorry for any inconvenience caused
Cycle race disruption on Friday 4 September 2026
Due to a cycle race taking place across parts of East Yorkshire on Friday 4 September, some East Yorkshire Buses services may be delayed, diverted or curtailed at certain times during the day.
We will do our best to keep services running as close to timetable as possible, but customers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and check before travelling.
Services likely to be affected
• Services 56, 57, 24 and 277 may experience minor delays around East Park, Holderness Road, Wyton Road and Preston between approximately 10:15 and 10:47.
• Service X7 from Hull at 10:10 may be delayed between Hedon and Withernsea.
• Service 129 at 10:55 may be delayed between Withernsea and Hornsea.
• Service 130 from Bridlington at 11:15 may be delayed between Hornsea and Lissett.
• Services 41, 141 and X45 may be affected around Burton Agnes, Driffield and Bainton between approximately 12:10 and 14:11.
• Services X46 between Hull, Beverley, Market Weighton and York will be affected during the afternoon.
• Service 142 at 1350 Between Beverley and Middleton on the Wolds will not be able to operate due to the amount of road closures on its route
X46 disruption between Beverley, Market Weighton and York
Between approximately 13:54 and 16:00, services from Hull will terminate at Beverley Bus Station and services from York will terminate at Market Weighton, unless race timings change on the day.
• X46 journeys from York at 12:40, 13:10 and 13:40 will terminate at Market Weighton.
• X46 journeys from Hull at 13:10, 13:40, 14:10 and 14:40 will terminate at Beverley Bus Station.
Road closures and diversions in Beverley
York Road/Racecourse Road will be closed from 05:00 to 13:54 and again from 16:00 to 19:00. During this closure, service X46 will divert from Beverley Bus Station via Manor Road, Woodhall Way, Driffield Road, Beverley Northern Bypass, A1035 and Dog Kennel Lane to rejoin the A1079. The reverse diversion will apply towards Beverley.
Molescroft Road will be closed from 12:00 to 19:00. Services 41 and 141 will divert from Beverley Bus Station via Manor Road, Woodhall Way and Driffield Road to rejoin their normal route. The reverse diversion will apply towards Beverley.
