Scarborough TEC is Scarborough's only Outstanding college with a focus on training, education and careers.

Their new campus, located on Filey Road in Scarborough, offers brand new training facilities for; Hair & Beauty, Health & Social Care, Childcare, Hospitality & Catering and Construction & Engineering, with new courses being introduced through the Yorkshire & Humber Institute of Technology, including Computing and Games Design.

For all students aged 16-18 years who are eligible to access a bursary, the college is able to offer free travel, providing they live over 2.1 miles from their place of study, have an annual household income of less than £24k and are training on one of their full-time courses. Any student who is not eligible or who is 19+ and studying full time will be eligible for a discounted pass on their chosen bus route.
Access to the subsidised and discounted bus passes is available via the EY Buses app – if you’re studying at Scarborough TEC, you’ll receive information on how to apply or purchase your subsidised or discounted bus pass when you attend enrolment at the college. Please speak to the college before purchasing a bus pass, as you'll need to put your name down for a pass so we know you're a genuine student.
