Our Newcastle City Break allows you to spend a couple days away based on your choices, not ours. Decide where you eat, where you visit and when you do things.
Newcastle is one of the best places in the country to eat, drink and play. Admire the Tyne Bridge, visit the museums, eat out with a riverside view or try a bar with a roof terrace.
Newcastle has a rich history beginning life as a Roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall and now offers a wonderful mix of heritage, culture and shopping.
Take a walk to the rejuvenated quayside and find internationally regarded music arenas and art museums in addition to its many bridges, or wander down Grey Street
– once voted the most beautiful street in the UK.

Located next to the River Tyne in the riverside area of Newcastle, the contemporary Copthorne Newcastle is a short walk to the city centre. Rooms boast wonderful river views from the large bay windows and are comfortable and well decorated. The large, modern restaurant overlooks the river and is contemporary in style, whilst the bar has a sports-bar feel with comfortable seating. There is also an outside terrace that makes the most of the riverside location. The hotel has a lift.
