Itinerary:

Day one:
We make our way to our hotel, with a couple of comfort stops along the way, where we’re greeted with tea and coffee on arrival.

Day two:
We spend today at leisure in Torquay, exploring this thriving seaside resort. Wander the palm tree lined street, admire the pretty harbour area as you walk along the beach, or browse the excellent selection of shops. Then, enjoy an Afternoon Cream at the hotel before preparing to meet Father Christmas himself and enjoying a Traditional Christmas dinner.

Day three:
After a leisurely breakfast, we take a trip to Paignton, the hometown of Agatha Christie’s famous residence, Greenway – a great site for anyone with an interest in
crime novels and literature. Here, we enjoy some free time to explore and a spot of lunch. Then, in the afternoon, we head to the stunningly beautiful harbourside town
of Brixham, where we enjoy some free time before heading back to the hotel.

Day four:
This morning, we head over to Totnes for some free time, a fascinating historical town that combines the stunning countryside with independent shopping, local food and drink and a variety of attractions. Then, in the afternoon, we head back to the hotel to enjoy some tea and shortbread before we enjoy our Celebration Dinner.

Day five:
On our final day, we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading home, arriving late afternoon.

As the name suggests, this family-run three-star hotel sits atop the cliff between Paignton and Torquay, with amazing views over Torbay, and enjoys direct private access to Livermead Beach. Each of the 65 bedrooms is comfortably decorated and includes TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel’s extensive public areas have breathtaking views, including an extensive bar/lounge, summer terrace and the Oceanic Restaurant. The hotel has a lift.
