Coronavirus Update

14th Apr onwards

Update: 25 February 2021
Due to the new national lockdown, we made temporary changes to some bus timetables from 17 January - see individual timetables for details. Services 56/57 will be returning to their normal timetables during the day from 8 March, although evening journeys will still be reduced.
Due to social distancing, buses can carry fewer passengers than normal. Plan your journeys around quiet times using our When2Travel journey planner on our website, and track your bus live on the app or website to see how busy it is in real time.
As buses can carry fewer people due to social distancing, it is possible some journeys may become full. The bus will then show 'Bus Full' on the destination display, and will not stop to pick anyone else up until people have alighted to provide free seats. You will have to wait for the next bus. You can help keep buses clear by travelling at quiet times. Find out the best times to travel by using our When2Travel tool or our live bus tracker. If the last bus of the day on a particular route becomes full, we will either send a second bus out, or we will continue to pick people up even after social distancing capacity is reached, so that no one is left stranded. Since the schools returned, we have seen buses especially busy at school start/finish times, so if you can, please avoid these times. We are monitoring passenger numbers on a daily basis, and we are using all our available resources to put on as many extra buses as we can, including 75 dedicated school buses and extra buses at certain times on Services 7/7A, 66, 77, 104, 128, 154 & X46.
You will have to wear a face covering when you travel on the bus - see more details on our website.
Please use contactless payments or buy a ticket in advance on our app. We are still accepting cash if you have no alternative.
Please remember social distancing both at your stop, and on board the bus. Follow signage on the buses which show you where to sit, and what to do when alighting.
If you have a disability and need assistance our drivers are still there to help. Simply speak to the driver as you board.
We have been cleaning our buses even more thoroughly since the crisis began, with cleaners at busy points to clean buses between journeys, extra cleaning of handrails and seats, and disinfectant 'fogging' of buses.
Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser before and after every journey. We provide hand sanitiser dispensers on our buses.
Our Hull Travel Centre is now open Monday-Saturday, but our Scarborough Travel Centre remains closed. You can also get advice from BusLine by ringing 01482 59 29 29, open 7am-7pm Monday-Friday, and 8am-6pm Saturday.

Roadworks on Anlaby Road continue from 8th Febuary, with a westbound closure between Melrose Street and the Anlaby Road/Boothferry Road Roundabout. These closures are expected to cause significant delays across all affected services.

Service 63 heading out of the city towards Cottingham will divert between Anlaby Road and Calvert Lane via Albert Avenue and Spring Bank West.

EastRider 55, Services 66 and 350 heading out of the city will divert via Albert Avenue, Spring Bank West, Calvert Lane and Anlaby Road eastbound to resume normal route at Kennings Roundabout on Boothferry Road.

Service 51 will divert in both directions via Boothferry Road, North Road & Hessle Road Flyover.

Temporary lockdown timetables

17th Jan onwards

From Sunday 17 January we're making temporary changes to some buses, in response to the national lockdown.
A small number of late night journeys will be suspended, and some frequent buses in Hull will run slightly less often due to lower numbers of people travelling.

If your service isn't mentioned above, it'll continue running as normal.
See details and all the amended timetables on our website.
