Whether you're a fan of whisky or not, the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery is a great place to learn more about how it's made. The first single malt whisky to be made in, and of, Yorkshire has been created a short walk away from the centre of the village of Hunmanby.
Tours around the distillery run every day (including Sundays) with expert guides and information about the processes and ingredients involved. You even get a taster at the end, and if you've taken the Coaster 12 bus, no one needs to drive!
There's also a great coffee shop too serving snacks and hot drinks. Afternoon tea is also available with 24 hours' notice.
Tours run daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and the Pot Still coffee shop is open 09:30am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sundays.
The Coaster 12 bus runs hourly from Scarborough and Bridlington through Hunmanby.
