M1, X46 & X47 Friday 15th August until Thursday 11th September 2025 A164 Beverley Road Closure

14th Aug 2025 - 11th Sep 2025

From Friday 15th August until Thursday 11th September 2025 the A164 will be closed from Morrisons / Lincoln Way Roundabout to Bentley. Services M1, X46 & X47 will be diverted between Dunswell Roundabout and Victoria Road Morrisons. The stops on each side of the A164 at Morrisons will not be served.

X46/X47 YORK 10K SERVICE CHANGES – SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST

We want to let you know about some service adjustments due to the York 10K, one of the UK’s most scenic and popular city runs. Thousands of participants come from across the country to race past York’s beautiful landmarks—including the historic city walls, Clifford’s Tower, and York Minster—along its fast, flat course. It’s a true celebration of community spirit and personal achievement.

❗ AFFECTED HULL → YORK SERVICES:
The following services from Hull will terminate early and will not serve York Rail Station:
07:05
08:05
09:05

These journeys will operate as normal into York, then turn right at the Merchantgate roundabout and terminate at Merchantgate.

🛑 STOPS NOT SERVED DURING THESE DIVERTED JOURNEYS:
Piccadilly
Ouse Bridge
Low Ousegate
Rougier Street
Nunnery Lane
York Railway Station

Passengers should alight at Merchantgate, which is a short walk from the city centre and main landmarks.

🔁 RETURN SERVICES – YORK → HULL CHANGES:
The following return services will start from Merchantgate (near St Denys Road), rather than York Railway Station:

09:05 → starts at 09:13 from Merchantgate
10:25 → starts at 10:33 from Merchantgate
11:26 → starts at 11:34 from Merchantgate

✅ ALL OTHER SERVICES:
All other X46/X47 services are expected to operate normally, including calling at York Railway Station and all usual city centre stops.
If any changes occur due to the event, we’ll update passengers as soon as possible.
