Salary: £9.50 per hour Hours per week: Average of 56 per week

Our professional drivers provide safe, reliable and efficient passenger journeys for the National Express network across the UK, providing our valued passengers with the best quality travel experience through their friendly, knowledgeable and helpful approach.

We are currently seeking recruits to join our National Express team here at Hull.

Candidates must be prepared to work long shifts at a variety of locations across the UK, and this will include regular weekend and bank holiday working.  Candidates must also have high standards of personal appearance and customer service, and be able demonstrate flexibility and commitment.

Experience & Qualifications

A PCV licence and up-to-date CPC training would be desirable, but isn't essential as we have our own training academy.

Candidates must live within a 45 minute commuting distance of Hull, Anlaby Road.

  • Driving company vehicles carefully and safely, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Being a team-player, ensuring that our services operate come rain or shine, day in day out.

What makes a great candidate for this role?

You must hold a PCV licence and have experience of driving buses or coaches, have great customer services skills and be a team player.  A good grasp of basic English and maths is essential as you’ll be dealing with passengers on a daily basis.  You need to look smart and professional, and be willing to work shifts, including staying away from home if required.
