Human Resources (HR) Advisor
We're looking for a Human Resources (HR) Advisor to join the team. We employ over 600 people across the region, so we need someone to help ensure that our Line managers are given appropriate commercially focused HR advice and support, enabling them to do what they do best and manage their teams effectively.
The Role
The role covers a full spectrum of activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, absence advice and case management, disciplinary and grievance case management, and exits.
You'll report to the Operations Manager, and will be fully supported in your growth and development by an external HR Director and Talent Lead, and you'll be able to contribute to the attainment of the goals and results of the HR department in line with the strategic goals of the business.
Salary
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (FTE)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and business focussed HR advice and guidance on day-to-day people issues aiming to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions.
- Maintain records of employee data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) ensuring all employment and legal requirements are met.
- Involvement in all aspects of recruitment and selection from sourcing candidates to supporting with interviews as required and assisting with selection. Ensuring accurate and timely administration of all aspects of recruitment and selection process from advertising through to offer stage. Provide advice to managers regarding discipline and grievance issues, including supporting investigations, providing support with hearings as required, advising on appropriate outcomes, and preparing related correspondence
- Take the lead on Ad hoc projects and duties that may arise
