What You’ll Do:
- Discover & Innovate: Harness tools like CitySwift to pinpoint growth opportunities, optimise route performance, and enhance schedule efficiency.
- Deliver Insightful Reports: Prepare compelling reports showcasing data-driven results for local authorities, government bodies, and stakeholders.
- Drive Growth: Collaborate with our commercial team to refine fares, launch game-changing initiatives, and expand into new markets.
- Boost Efficiency: Maintain and evolve route costing models to ensure we’re sustainable, impactful, and ahead of the curve.
- Maximise Resources: Use depot allocation tools to streamline operations, creating Schedule Utilisation and Staff (SUS) reports that make a difference.
- Support Workforce Planning: Analyse workforce trends, including attrition rates, recruitment patterns, and future needs, to support effective staff allocation and ensure resource sustainability.
- Collaborate with Go-Ahead Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues across the Go-Ahead Group to produce period reporting that aligns with group-level standards and showcases key metrics.
- Collaborate & Conquer: Partner with Operations, Scheduling, Finance, and Engineering teams to deliver transformative improvements and ensure reliable, efficient, and customer-focused services.
- Lead with Vision: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer expectations, and competitor strategies to craft bold, future-focused plans.

What You Bring to the Table:
- Proven expertise in business analysis or a related analytical role.
- Mastery of data tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- A knack for spotting inefficiencies and turning insights into game plans.
- Stellar communication skills to present data in an inspiring and digestible way.
- Experience crafting reports for local authorities, group-level reporting, or government bodies.
- A proactive mindset with a perfect balance of big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of the public transport sector or similar operational environments.
- Familiarity with tools like CitySwift or depot allocation software.
- Expertise in route costing frameworks, workforce planning, and resource management systems.
