Beachcomber is back
From 18 July our Beachcomber buses are back in Scarborough!
There'll be buses along the seafront from The Spa to The Sands every day from 18 July until 6 September, running about every 15 minutes from 9.40am until 7.45pm.
Buses run from The Sands in North Bay through to The Spa in South Bay, taking in some great views along Royal Albert Drive, Marine Drive and Sandside. No need to book in advance, you can hop on at any stop on the seafront.
You can buy a ticket on the bus using cash or contactless cards, or even using Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone. Great value singles, day tickets and group tickets are available:
- Adult day ticket £5
- Child day ticket £3
- Concessionary day ticket £3
- Group ticket £12 (for up to 4 people travelling together)
You can also use our fantastic Coaster tickets on our open top buses.
See the Beachcomber Red timetable in our full summer leaflet, which also includes our Coaster buses between Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough.
We're also pleased to have been awarded 'Good to Go' status by Visit England, showing that we comply with government social distancing and cleaning standards. Social distancing will be in place on our open top buses, so as with any other bus, please pay by contactless if you can, sit away from those from other households, wear a face covering (except children under 11 and those with disabilities) and don't travel if you are unwell.
Our Beachcomber Green (Scarborough attractions) and Beachcomber Blue (Bridlington) will not be running this year.
