A colourful Beachcomber open top bus in front of Scarborough's South Bay

From 12 April our Beachcomber Red buses return to Scarborough - and they're better than ever!

Plus, from 17 April, Beachcomber Blue will be running in Bridlington, with spectacular views on the journey out to Flamborough.

Beachcomber Red - Scarborough

Our popular and award-winning Beachcomber Red buses run along Scarborough seafront every day from 12 April until the end of October.

This year, they've got an even better route.  They'll run along the seafront from The Spa in South Bay to The Sands in North Bay, then they'll continue past North Bay Railway, Peasholm Park and Alpamare to SEA LIFE.

Buses run around every 12 minutes at busy times, and every 20 minutes at quieter times of year.

Views out over the bay are amazing, and with our fantastic value day tickets you can hop on and off the bus as many times as you want.

There's no need to book in advance - simply hop on board at any stop on the seafront.  Contactless payments are available on board every bus, or you can even pay using Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone.

It's just £5 for an adult day ticket, or £3 for a child or concessionary passholder.  Up to four people of any age can travel together for just £12 with our great value group ticket.  And if you've got a Coaster day ticket, you can use that to travel on our Beachcomber buses for FREE!

We think our Beachcomber Red buses are one of the best attractions in Scarborough, but don't take our word for it - TripAdvisor has awarded us the Traveller's Choice award, placing our open top buses in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.

See our Beachcomber leaflet for bus times.  Book your tickets in advance online.

Beachcomber Blue - Bridlington

Looking for spectacular views and amazing scenery?  Bridlington Beachcomber Blue returns from 17 April, running every weekend and school holiday until 31 October.

Hop on the bus to get between Bridlington, Sewerby Hall, Flamborough, Thornwick Bay holiday village and the lighthouse.

Bridlington Blue is so popular we've added extra journeys this year.

With our fantastic value day tickets you can hop on and off the bus as many times as you want.

We're also pleased to have been awarded 'Good to Go' status by Visit England, showing that we comply with government social distancing and cleaning standards.  Social distancing will be in place on our open top buses, so as with any other bus, please pay by contactless if you can, sit away from those from other households, wear a face covering (except children under 11 and those with disabilities) and don't travel if you are unwell.

We're good to go
